Ezekiel 3:8 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have set a fire in Eygpt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed. 

God warns the nations that support Eygpt that they are going to be judged. God is going to break the power of Eygpt. The people will then see that He is truly God. They will know and realize who God is. This verse opens my understanding about how God works. God does not just want to judge Eygpt. He wants all nations to know Him and be drawn to Him. If they realize who He is, they might want to find out more about God. They might ask the  Isralites about their God. God doesn’t just want to judge, He wants to be made known to all nations.
