God gives victory!

 For by thee I have run through a troop; And by my God have I leaped over a wall. Psalms 18:29

If you look at the life of David you will find the ultimate rags to riches story. He started as a  shepherd boy and ended up as a king of an entire nation. He was the only man in entire Israelite army to go and fight Goliath. He was a great general that the people loved. When he came back into town people start singing his praises. They celebrate that he has killed tens of thousands of the enemy. He is soon raised up to be the king of a powerful nation. He accomplished great things, but in all of his victories he knew something about God. He knew that it was God that had given him victory. God had given him success. I need to realize the same thing about God that David did. God is the one that provides and blesses me. I need to acknowledge and thank Him.
