My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Psalms 57:6

David was focused on one thing! God! His heart was fixed on God. If terrible things happened in his life, he would turn to God. If he had a boring, tiring work day, he would still be focused on God. If things were going great, he would still love God. I have found that life tends to break this focus. I tell myself that I am going to focus on God throughout the day, but how many times have I sat down at the end of it and realize that I even didn’t think abut God the whole time. If my heart is fixed, then I will be thinking about God and asking Him what I should do.
