Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
We had a wonderful month in February!
The month began with an incredible opportunity to travel to Peru and preach at a youth camp. It was a blessing to share God’s Word, and we praise the Lord that several teenagers trusted Christ as their Savior! During our time there, I had the privilege of preaching and teaching 19 times. Though we faced challenges with the weather and flight cancellations, we were able to return safely by driving ten hours to another city to catch a flight.
While we were away, we were very thankful for Pastor Marcelo’s leadership at the church. A special Friend’s Day service was held, with over ten visitors attending. We were also encouraged by the attendance on election Sunday. Since voting is mandatory, many people must travel to their designated polling stations, yet many still made the effort to attend church, which was a great encouragement to us.
On February 15th, we hosted a special couples’ meeting, which was a great encouragement to the married couples in our church. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and teaching, focusing on strengthening marriages and deepening commitment to one another. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in families and pray that God continues to strengthen the homes in our church.
On February 23rd, we rejoiced in baptizing three young people who had placed their faith in Jesus. It is always exciting to see new believers take this next step of faith!
We are also grateful for our growing youth ministry and those who serve in it. This past Saturday, 12 young people participated in outreach and spent the day at our home. Later that afternoon, over 30 youth attended our meeting—a great encouragement to see so many involved!
One pressing need we have is to finish the youth meeting space. Currently, we meet on the second floor of the church classrooms, but this area remains unfinished—it lacks walls, lighting, and flooring. To complete this space, we need $2,500. We are grateful that one church has already planning helping, but we wanted to share this need with you as well. If you or your church would consider giving toward this project, we would be deeply grateful.
