If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:17-18
These men were staring in the face of death. There was no way that they were going to escape! However, they choose to obey God and trust in Him. They believed that He would deliver them, but the biggest thing that stands out is the fact that even if it didn’t turn out the way that they wanted it was not going to affect their faith in God! This is huge! Many people will believe God as long as he gives them what they want but will lose faith if circumstances don’t turn out correctly. Everyone believes God when things are going their way, but many will lose faith we they encounter obstacles. I must believe God event no matter the circumstance in my life!
