Give me wisdom…please God

1 Chronicles 1:10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

Lord please help me to have the attitude of Solomon. He was the king of Isreal. He is supposed to know everything. Yet he doesn’t let that get to his head. He needs God’s wisdom. He realized that asking God for wisdom shows your heart. It shows that you want to do God’s will, and not yours. This is a big lesson that I need to learn. Looking back on the last couple of years of my life, I have realized that most of the time I just do what I want and then ask God to bless it instead of asking God what He wants. That is stupid! If I say I am a follower of Christ, I should try to do what God wants. I need His wisdom!
