And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 10:38-39

Some people have this idea that God is there to help them. Jesus is my personal trainer or physiologist. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Jesus is here to control your life. Not in a bad way but we are the servants of God! These verses here tell me that  my life should be totally given to God. We must be willing to give up our life to God. The truly saved Christian will always put God first in his life and will not live for himself.  Do I have this attitude? Am I willing to pay the price and live for God instead of myself?
