But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Jer. 1:7 

God called Jeremiah to be his man! He wanted Jeremiah to be His prophet and preach His Word. However, Jeremiah  was making excuses to God. He was scared. He didn’t think he could speak well. He was making excuses. I need to remember this is true in my life as well. It is easy to think God that can use everyone else but me. It is easy to make excuses why God can not use me. God is reminding me here that I need to stop making excuses and start believing Him.
