Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth:

The Jews were doing what God had said to do. They were offering sacrifices and keeping all the holy days. However, God was fed up with them. He hated what they were doing. He hated it because they had the wrong attitude. God simply wants them to have to right heart attitude because that is what he is worried about. He is not so worried about our actions as much as our attitude. I can be doing God’s work but be doing it for the wrong reasons. I must obey God because I love Him.
