Psalms 43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy: Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
This Psalmist makes an awesome statement. He says that God is his joy. He doesn’t find his joy in his circumstances. In fact, if you read the rest of the Psalm it sounds like he is going through a rough time. It sounds like things are going bad for him. However, even in the middle of his rough times, God is still his joy. I need to have this same attitude! No matter what happens in my life, God should still be my joy. He is the God that made me. He sent His son to die for me. My joy should be found in God.
